Finally, Nigeria's top TV reality music competition, Nigerian Idol season 3, has reached its last set of performances. With 3 performances each on Sunday night, the Top 2 contestants, Dolu and K-peace, delivered beyond their best. During the final performances, Dolu and K-peace performed West Life’s 'Flying without Wings'. It was the last duet for the two contestants.

The regent of Akungba Akoko township in Ondo state, Princess Mojisola Omosowon who was kidnapped by unknown gunmen along the Owo-Akure road in Ondo state on June 3rd has regained her freedom. A team of police officers and state security service officers rescued the regent in Edo.

Princess Omosowon was kidnapped along with her driver while on her way to attend the inaugural lecture of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) in Akure, the Ondo state capital.

Pepsi Football Academy sponsors 2 orphans to Brookehouse college UK

Eken Divine is not your average 15 year-old. Orphaned at a tender age and raised by his uncle, he grew up alone after losing three of his siblings. After observing his football talent and his difficulty in settling in at school, his uncle Eken James Okechukwu registered him at the Aba Pepsi Football Academy in 2013.

Driven by the desire to repay his uncle and emulate his idol Osaze Odemwingie, he seized the opportunity with both hands and became one of the Academy’s finest.

Here are pics of an incident that happened in my area last two Saturdays. A guy went to his friend's place with his babe. A few hours later, the girl came out screaming rape rape rape. And later the guy came out too screaming help help help. The girl had blood on her clothes and then she was given a cloth to cover herself. But when the guy came out with blood on his body everyone was shocked and that's when we knew the girl bit off his penis and this was done with her teeth. The guy was taken to the hospital but when they got to the hospital they realized that the other part was no longer there. They had to come back home to look for the remaining part, but by then its dead, though they stitched it he's still in the hospital. Photos attached...

Over 31 civilians, mostly children,women and elderly leaving Rahman Mosque were killed by rebel shelling in Aleppo, Syria, yesterday. And over a 100 wounded.

"These terrorists were shelling civilians and Muslims learning how to recite the Koran. The aim is to terrorise people," Information Minister Omran al-Zubi told state television.

The newly inaugurated members of the National Assembly are to receive N8.64 billion as Wardrobe allowance next week. According to ThisDay, N8.64 billion wardrobe allowance translates to N17.5 million for each of the 360 members of the House of Representatives and N21.5 million for each of the 109 senators. This is asides the other allowances they are entitled to which includes furniture, housing and vehicle.

If you don't want to die of heartbreak, I think it's best not to check your spouses phone. I did over the weekend and I haven't recovered from it. I went through my wife's phone and I saw a text she sent to her ex, a man she had a baby with where she told him he denied her the fairytale life she'd hoped for. That they would have been so happy together but he decided to chose someone else over her and that their son is a remainder of a great love that could have been but never was. She said she would never stop loving him and hoped in another lifetime, God will give them another chance and he would choose her. She sounded so heartbroken. She's been married to me for two years and we have a son together. So it means she's not happy with me and is only with me because the love of her life rejected her? I'm heartbroken. Don't know how to confront her about this. This is so painful

The obituary of a young man who died from a drug overdose has gone viral. The obituary, which uncommonly explains the cause of death, was written for 22-year-old North Carolina resident Clay Shepard after his drug overdose. It noted that his family loved him, but that love wasn’t enough to fight Shepard’s addiction.

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, had last week, announced the ban of local gin, popularly known as Ogogoro and conduct sensitization across the country, due to the death of more than 60 people who had consumed the local gin in Rivers and Ondo states.
