Taiwo Awoniyi Nigeria youth international signs for Liverpool Nigeria youth international Taiwo Awoniyi have signed for English Premier League side Liverpool Liverpool have completed the signing of highly rated Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi . The 18-year-old according to report underwent a medical at Anfield before signing a professional contract. Dutch side Heerenveen are in pole position to take the  Nigeria under-23 striker on loan as Liverpool are having troubles obtaining a work permit for the player. A loan move would e beneficial for the youngster who currently plays for Imperial Soccer Academy in Nigeria. Tragic 2 dead, 5 injured as keg of fuel bursts into flames on motorcycle There was panic in the Mile 12 area of Lagos on Wednesday after fire erupted from a passenger’s keg and burnt two motorcyclists to death. It was gathered that the fire, which started at about 7.30pm, also razed about eight motorcycles in the area, Punch reports, Punch reports. It was gathered that the victims, identified only as Musa and Sanni, were among several others affected by the inferno at Agilinti bus stop, Mile 12. It was revealed that a woman, who boarded a motorcycle, had a keg of fuel with her, which was kept inside a nylon, but the keg reportedly leaked. The motorcycle was said to have arrived at the Agilinti bus stop, where some traders had lit their lamps. Fire from one of the lamps was said to have leaped unto the fuel-soaked nylon, leading to a fire outbreak. It was also gathered that no fewer than eight motorcycles at the bus stop were consumed. Grabbed Woman arrested for killing and secretly burying boyfriend A woman suspected of killing and secretly burying her boyfriend has been arrested A 40-year-old woman suspected of killing and secretly burying her Canadian boyfriend, who came to Ghana on a visit, has been arrested by the police. Although the body has not yet been found, Natasha Bawah , a trader and hairdresser, is alleged to have taken the presumed dead Eddie Murphy Sulemana to the Upper East Region where he was killed. The suspect claimed that Sulemana, a Muslim, died at the Tumu Government Hospital while receiving treatment for a fatal accident in the Upper East Region, and was buried by the Muslim community. However, checks by the police neither yielded any records of Sulemana either at the hospital nor from the Muslim community that supposedly buried him. In Osun Man, 31, remanded for alleged disarming police officers of arms, ammunition The accused pleaded not guilty to the charges but plea was not taken by the Magistrate. A 31-year-old man, Sefiu Aniwura , was on Friday remanded in Ilesa Prison by an Osogbo Magistrates Court for allegedly disarming some police officers of their arms and ammunition. The Magistrate, Mrs Halimatu Bashiru , gave the order that the accused be kept behind bars due to the gravity of the offences. The accused whose address was not disclosed is facing a six-count-charge bordering on conspiracy, robbery, and being in possession of dangerous weapons. Earlier, the Prosecutor, Sgt. Duro Adekunle, had told the court that the accused committed the offences on Oct. 14, 2014, at about 3: 25 p.m., at Halleluyah Estate in Osogbo , Osun .
