Ex-minister returns another N30m to EFCC The former minister reportedly struck a deal with the EFCC to testify against the Ekiti state Governor, Ayo Fayose.   The former Minister of state for defence, Musiliu Obanikoro has returned N30m to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The former minister had earlier refunded N104m to the anti-graft agency before he was released on bail, bringing the total sum refunded to N134m. According to Punch, Obanikoro also pleaded with the EFCC to allow him return N450m in 2017. “Obanikoro came on Monday and presented a draft of about N30m. Initially we did not want to collect it because it is small compared to what he is supposed to have given us. However, the legal department advised us to collect it,” an EFCC source said.
