Poverty 35-yr-old man commits suicide over 25k bank loan A man who owed a bank money decided to take the easy way out by killing himself. Unable to repair a loan of N25,000 he had obtained from a micro finance bank and with the bank threatening to confiscate his goods, a petty trader who dealt with second hand clothes popularly called 'Okrika', Badejo Adeyinka , a 35-year-old resident of Kubwa, a satellite town in Bwari Area Council of Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself on Tuesday, September 15. According to reports, Adeyinka who was married with two children, sold second-hand clothes at the Kubwa village market and had borrowed the sum of N150,000 from the bank and when he could not offset the loan, his younger brother, Emmanuel had assisted in paying part of the borrowed money, leaving him with just N25,000 to complete the payment. Man spends hours on 7 floor ledge after husband of lover surprises him A man who was spending the night in his married lover's home had to jump out of a 7th floor window when the husband came home unexpectedly. A Chinese man who was spending the night with his married lover , was left hanging on the window ledge of a seven storey building for several hours, after the woman's husband who was out of town on business, came back home unannounced, reports Daily Mail. The Shishi, Fujian Province man, took the deadly risk and climbed out of the window to escape from the woman's husband and was rescued by firefighters after the man had left for work in the morning. The cheating wife only called the fire service to rescue her stranded lover once her husband had left for work the next morning. In Lagos Man arrested with 154 kegs of petroleum products Abafi said that the suspect, 30, was arrested by a marine team of the Anti-Vandal Unit of NSCDC at about 10.30 p.m. on Aug. 28. The Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) on Tuesday, September 1, said it has arrested one Sunday Ewaranwon alleged to have 150 kegs of 50 litres of petroleum products. The Lagos State Commandant of the corps, Gabriel Abafi , made the allegation while speaking with journalists. Abafi said that the suspect, 30, was arrested by a marine team of the Anti-Vandal Unit of NSCDC at about 10.30 p.m. on Aug. 28. "The product which was loaded in a wooden boat powered with 30-horsepower engine at a creek around Ikorodu was intercepted at Ijora area of Lagos. "The kegs were packaged in such a way that portrays that they are proceeds from vandalised petroleum pipelines. "When it was converted to litres, it amounted to 7,700 litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) product.

Denmark will send its first man into space on Wednesday and in keeping with the country's love of all things cycling, one of his jobs will be to test new equipment on Danish-made exercise bikes at the International Space Station . Dubbed "Denmark's Gagarin" by European Space Agency officials after the first man in space, Andreas Mogensen will lift off at 0437 GMT accompanied by Russian Sergei Volkov and Kazakh Aidyn Aimbetov on ESA's 10-day "sprint" mission. The aim is to test equipment in areas of telerobotics and communications as well as monitoring the impact of space travel on Mogensen himself as his short voyage is unique in missions that normally last se
