Fola David (@foladavid) is an amazing artist.
He recently made the news by painting a masterpiece of Dancehall artist Patoranking under five minutes.
What made the feat more impressive was the fact that he did the painting upside down before a large live audience.
You will not readily appreciate Fola's genius until you realise that he is a 500 level student of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
The life a medical student in Nigeria is tough enough, and so is the life of an average artist and to combine both, successfully is certainly a remarkable feat.
On May 31st he summarised his life as a Medical student cum-artist in one expressive Facebook update:
"Handling over 20 commissions per month and performances and medical school amongst other things," he wrote.
His brand, Foladavid Artworks, is becoming a household name and his Facebook page is receiving a lot of love.
Certainly, Fola is an example to young Nigerian students with dreams and talents.
