Obasanjo also said that allegations of budget padding raised by lawmaker, Abdulmumin Jibrin should be investigated. Fire caused by petrol tanker kills 14 persons The fire which burnt the houses was caused by a petrol tanker conveying fuel from Lagos to Kaduna.                 Tragedy struck in Tegina town located in Rafi Local Government Area of Niger state when a petrol tanker caught fire after running into some building. Fourteen persons were killed as a result of the fire which occurred in some residential area of the state. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the vehicle driver, who was carrying fuel from Lagos to Kaduna, lost control, causing the petrol tanker to run off the road.
