Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole has appointed two new commissioners.
The nominees have been identified as Chief Tom Uloko and Gideon Obhakhan and their names have been submitted to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.
This was disclosed via a statement released by Oshiomhole’s media aide, Prince Kassim Afegbua.
It reads in part:
“Until
now, Chief Tom Uloko, a Chartered Accountant, was Chairman of the State
Procurement Agency while Mr. Gideon Obhakhan was candidate of the All
Progressives Congress in the 2015 House of Representatives election.”
“Both are expected to come on board with their wealth of experience and inject fresh ideas into the state Executive Council.”
Oshiomhole had, on September 9, 2015, sacked four of his commissioners for failing to meet the state government’s requirements for optimal performance.
