The Hungarian Government has promised to assist Nigeria in its quest to defeat terrorist sect, Boko Haram.

Semjen’s comments were contained in a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, after the meeting.
“The extremism of Boko Haram is not Islamic. It runs contrary to all human philosophies,” the Vice Prime Minister said, according to the statement.

Semjen also said that
Hungary would assist Nigeria in the area of agriculture and also looked
forward to increasing bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
