The Presidency has said that former President, Goodluck Jonathan can visit the Presidential Villa anytime he wants.
The comment was made by presidential media aide, Femi Adesina following Jonathan’s visit to President Muhammadu Buhari yesterday, November 2, 2015.
“He has the right to visit the villa anytime as a former president,” Adesina told Vanguard.
Buhari
and Jonathan met behind closed doors for about five minutes as the
former President arrived the Villa at 2:00pm and left at about 2:10pm.
It’s
not clear what was discussed during the meeting which is the second
between the two since Jonathan handed over to Buhari on May 29.

Buhari had, on
November 1, said that he would not hide details of the atrocities that
were committed during Jonathan’s regime from Nigerians.
The president said this in response to an accusation from Jonathan’s party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), that he was “demarketing” Nigeria with his comments on the state in which the former leader left the nation.
