The Kwara Government on Thursday warned secondary school principals in the state against acts of indiscipline.
The state Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development, Alhaji Musa Yeketi, gave the warning at a meeting with all senior school principals in Ilorin.

said acts of discipline should start from the head as administrators
and which must flow down the ladder to members of staff and the
students.
The commissioner disclosed that the
state government had concluded plans to renovate more schools and
reshape vocational centres in secondary schools in the state.
Also speaking at the meeting, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Alhaja Mariam Garba, advised principals not to tolerate laziness in their profession.
She
warned that culprits would be made to face the consequences of their
actions, adding that no school would be left out in the planned
inspection across the state.
On his part, the
Permanent Secretary, Teaching Service Commission, Alhaji Muhammed Yanda,
commended the principals for their patriotism and cooperation in
exposing the list of ghost workers.
