JAMB UTME portal now open
“Candidates are to adhere strictly to the schedules as there will be no rescheduling of examination for any student."
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has advised candidates who registered for the 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) to print their examination notification slips.
Its Head of Information, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, said candidates would have access to the JAMB portal from today.
He said the notification slip should contain the date, time and venue of the candidates’ examination.
“Candidates are to adhere strictly to the schedules as there will be no rescheduling of examination for any student.
“They are to be in their centres 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.
“Candidates
are also advised to check their schedules properly as the board will
not condone any excuse in the event of candidates missing their date and
or time for his or her examination.”
The
board further said candidates should visit JAMB accredited CBT centres
and cybercafes or at the comfort of their homes to print the slip.
The
board said it has concluded arrangements for the takeoff of the
Computer-Based Test (CBT) platform, scheduled to begin on February 29.
