Nduka Obaigbena This Day publisher pledges support for Buhari's anti-corruption war
Obaigbena called on the government to build strong institutions,
find the root cause of follow the rule of law as it fights the menace.
The President of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN), Nduka Obaigbena hosted to minister of information and culture, Alhaji. Lai Mohammed in Lagos recently.
Vanguard reports that the minister was on a courtesy call to the association.
Obaigbena while receiving Mohammed said ” We will help you fight corruption because it is antithetical to development.”
He
also called on the government to build strong institutions, find the
root cause of follow the rule of law as it fights the menace.

publisher also said there was need to the doctrine of innocence that
presumes an accused person innocent until he is found guilty, to be
respected.
Nduka Obaigbena was recently released on administrative bail by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), after agreeing to refund the N670m he allegedly collected from the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.
Reports say he has returned N350m to the EFCC, with a promise to return the remaining N200m next week.
