Nigerians react to emergence of Jimoh Ibrahim as PDP candidate

The decision has caused controversy due to Ibrahim’s replacement of Eyitayo Jegede who was earlier nominated.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has named businessman, Jimoh Ibrahim as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the upcoming governorship elections in Ondo state.

INEC made the announcement on Thursday, October 27, in preparation for the elections which will hold on November 26.
The decision has caused controversy due to Ibrahim’s replacement of Eyitayo Jegede who was earlier chosen as the party’s candidate.

Fuel Price Hike   CLO to join protest against increase CLO also criticised the government’s decision to increase fuel price at a time like this when Nigerians are facing hardship, saying the decision is wicked. The Civil Liberties Organisation (CLO) has announced that it will join the protest action against the increase in fuel pump price.
