President reportedly returns to Nigeria after 51 days in London

President Buhari has reportedly returned to Nigeria after almost two months of stay in London.

President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly arrived the country on Friday, March 10, 2017 at exactly 7:41 a.m.

In a report by ThisDay Newspaper, Buhari returned 51 days after he left the country on a medical vacation.

It was also reported that as a result of the closure of the Abuja airport, the President's plane landed at the Kaduna airport after which he was flown in a helicopter to the President Villa, Abuja.

It was further reported that president Buhari might address the nation today after his long absence, in order to quell any concerns over his capacity to govern.
Buhari's media aide, Femi Adesina broke the news of his Friday return on Thursday night, March 9, 2017.
Buhari left the country on Jan 17 on a 10-day vacation which he said he would also use to have a medical check-up.
The leave was later extended based on a medical advise by his doctors who said they wanted to carry out further tests.
